Trainee Project Manager

Trainee Project Manager – Shopfititng/Retail Fit out – £16-18k p.a.

Our Client has over 30 years experience in Designing, manufacturing and installing retail and commercial interiors in the UK and globally. The group operates from approximately 500,000 square feet of production and logistics space. They can provide a complete turnkey solution incorporating product design, space planning, manufacture, logistics, installation and project management. Along with extensive manufacturing ability in the UK our client also offer cost efficiencies via their China Company and global supply chain.

The Role

They are currrently looking for Graduate/assistant/trainee level Project Managers to join the team and help support them through their busy spring/summer period.

You will be assisting the Project Managers is delivering Commercial and Retail interior fit out’s for a range of clients, including, Mark & Spencers, Tesco, Boots, H&M and more.

The summer period is traditionally the companys busiest time, the workload is high and the need to deliver job on time and to a high stanard is imperative, you must be able to work well under pressure.

You will be initally supported every step of the way and full training will be provided, with the intention of moulding you into a competent, effective and strong Project Manager within a few years.

The Person

* The ideal candidate will be studying or have completed a degree of equivilant HND/HNC in Construction Management/ Project Management
* You will be a quick learner and work well under pressure
* You will posses an approachable and friendly maner towards to clients and colleagues
* Some work experience would be advantageous (particularly in Construction/Interiors) but it is not essesntial
