Permanent Role
£26,000starting salary ( increased to £16000 after 6 months probation) + fully funded CIMA Qualification!
Based in Liverpool City Centre
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious Trainee Management Accounts Assistant to join our client who is a market leading organisation within the Insurance and Financial Services Industry.

Working as part of the Finance Team, initially you will be working closely with the experienced Assistant Management Accountant to develop a wide and varied understanding of the workings of the department.
Your duties will be varied and including:
Ensuring invoices are posted on a timely basis
Assisting with the banking of cheques and issuing of payments as required
Post disbursements to the ledger.
Responsibility for posting credit notes to files as required.
Ensuring cheques are banked and amounts reconciled
Issuing cheques and electronic payments to clients within specified authorisation limits.
To deal with email queries relating to posting of disbursements and credit notes on a daily basis.
To assist with the preparation of the office accounts as required.

Key skills required:
You must be an ambitious graduate looking for an intensive training opportunity to develop into a Management Accountant role, studying CIMA
Ideally you will be a graduate with a good degree in either: Accountancy and Finance / Economics / Mathematics
Well organised and have a systematic approach to your work
Strong communicator, verbally and written
