A fantastic opportunity for sponsored training has arisen within one of the top 40 Civil Engineering Companies in the NCE 100.
The firm’s clients include major house builders as well as commercial, industrial and institutional organisations and they are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their office near Farnborough in this exciting Trainee CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technician role.
The permanent position will include funded training towards a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), with possible progression to becoming a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer.
In addition to general day-to-day office administration, the candidate will be taught to work with both 3D and 2D software in creating design plans which engineers can use to take a ‘virtual tour’ of machinery components and / or buildings.
The ideal candidate must be committed to working and studying at the same time and must have 5 GCSEs at A-C grade, including Maths, English and Science. You must be able to use Microsoft Office and preferably have a computer-based qualification.

37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday)
£10-15K
