The Role: Trade Support – Operations – Intermediate
The successful candidate will be an operations all-rounder. To ensure the safe capture of transactions for various asset types. To ensure that transactions creating changes in portfolio records (both UK and overseas) are recorded in the relevant systems in a timely manner and on an accurate basis.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for ensuring the accurate capture of any trades via automated trade flow routes
Responsible for ensuring the accurate capture of delegated entity transactions Responsible for relevant escalation and resolution of issues relating to trade flow and capture
Responsible for ensuring timely resolution of reconciliation items falling out of the trade flow and capture process
Responsible for maintaining comprehensive records of the manual input with proof of justification to ensure accurate reporting and audit trails can be completed
Settlements, Reconciliations
This role is a Key conduit of information between a number of business areas
Background:
Knowledge of Investment Instruments, i.e. Equities, Bonds, Unit Trusts, CDs, Money Market Instruments and Foreign Exchange (FX).
A minimum of two years trade capture/management/operational experience
Knowledge of regulation or procedures governing pricing.
Ability to communicate well at all levels i.e. internal/external clients, senior management, junior staff and technical teams.
Good Excel skills
Desirable: Knowledge of additional Investment Instruments Listed Derivatives, OTC instruments
Good understanding of Middle Office activities.
