Our client are an e-commerce entertainment business in the West End. They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately entering invoices into the Finance system and administering receipt of invoices by email or post
- Ensuring all invoices are correctly coded
- Credit card coding, posting and statement reconciliations
- Investigate/query invoices with discrepancies
- Purchase order maintenance
- Communicating and responding to enquiries with suppliers, departments and other group companies in a courteous and timely manner.
- Bank reconciliations
- Ensuring VAT is correctly accounted for
- Posting of intercompany transactions relating to invoices
- Ensure effective controls developed and maintained around AP processes
- Assisting in Balance sheet reconciliations (incl. Multi-currency)
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets for certain indirect cost categories.
- Adhoc tasks and reporting
Candidate Spec
- A working knowledge in a similar role,
- Excellent excel skills
