Temp Payroll Officer

Organisation Description

A fast growing Healthcare recruitment business based in Stratford is recruiting a Temp Payroll Officer to join their busy and fast paced finance department.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller this is a hands-on role that will require flexibility as the business continues to evolve alongside ambitious growth plans.

Key duties will include the following:

– Checking and processing temporary worker timesheets
– Scheduling payments to workers and umbrella companies
– Production of temporary worker self-bill invoices and remittances
– Creating and distributing invoices to clients and trusts
– Processing temporary worker master data and statutory documentation
– Resolution of pay queries
– Processing temporary worker expense payments and deductions

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

– Minimum of 1 year payroll experience
– Excellent telephone manner
– Proven ability to build internal and external relationships
– Highly organised with strong communication skills
– Ability to contribute to the development of the payroll process
– Previous experience in a Healthcare recruitment firm and experience with Eclipse CRM system an advantage
