A growing company based in Newton Abbot is looking for a Telesales Representative to join its team. The company has a great reputation for its Sales and Service delivery working with customers throughout Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. They are looking for a Telesales Representative to join their friendly team and be pivotal in the growth of their business.
The Responsibilities of the Telesales Representative
• Contact potential new customers to understand their current situation or possible requirements working from a CRM database
• Answer basic questions about the products/services or the company
• Direct prospects to the field sales team
• Enter and update customer information in the database
• Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota to help facilitate future sales
• Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
The Requirements for the Telesales Representative
• Proven experience as telesales representative
• Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota mainly via the phone
• Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software)
• Work well in a team setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
• Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
The Hours of Work for the Telesales Representative
Monday to Friday 9.00 – 5.30 with a 1-hour lunch break
The Pay for the Telesales Representative
£26,000 per year Basic, OTE £26,000 per year
