Telecoms Rigging Supervisor

The successful candidate must have experience as a Telecoms Rigger working for a major Telecoms company. Must also be able to provide copies of in date Certification as below.

* Candidates without relevant Telecoms Rigging experience will not be considered for the role *

The Role:

– Responsible for a number of rigging teams
– Responsible for all activities associated with the Installation, Inspection, Survey and Maintenance of existing and new Masts, Towers and Antenna Support Structures including Associated Antenna Systems.
– You will be expected to carry out rigging duties to cover for peaks in workload or holiday cover.

Duties:

– Supervision of climbing teams.
– Producing and monitoring climbing RAMS.
– Maintaining climbing training matrix.
– Inspection and testing of climbing and rigging equipment including record keeping.
– Auditing all rigging activities.
– Other rigging related duties as directed by the Implementation Manager (Mobile).

Qualifications and Experience:

– Able to climb and work safely at heights.
– Advanced climber qualifications including rooftop access and tower rescue.
– Climbing equipment inspection qualification.
– Antenna/feeder testing experience.
– Microwave installation/Commissioning experience.
– RF awareness.
– All climbing personnel must meet basic medical and fitness requirements.
– Experience, working within the mobile telecommunications industry.
– Experienced in antenna and cable installations
– Willing and able to work and stay away from home (up to 4 nights/week). Overtime weekend working will be required from time to time.
– Conversant in the use of computers would be beneficial GPS alignment tools (software Microsoft Excel and Word).
– Full driving license is essential.
– CSCS card (or equivalent)
