Wellington Professional Recruitment is proud to be working with our client, a leading construction and utilities service provider delivering major infrastructure projects and maintenance works in the utilities sector. They are now looking to compliment their already strong team with the appointment of a Project Manager who will work on specific telecom/utility site based projects in Central and Border areas of Scotland. This is the ideal opportunity for a high calibre Project Manager with a strong background of civil engineering projects looking to develop their career with a leading contractor.

As Telecoms Project Manager you will report into the Operations Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the ongoing cabling and fibre optic roll-out projects, including such disciplines as excavation, fibre optic cable laying and reinstatement contracts along with Quality, Health & Safety coordination, Sub Contractors and liaison with client representatives on site. As the Project Manager you will be a highly organised individual whose decision making will ensure that the objectives and core values of the business are put into practice. You should expect the role to take you across Central and Border areas of Scotland.

To be considered for this unique role you must have –

Experience in a similar senior role such as Project Management working in a civil engineering environment ideally on telecoms cabling/fibre optics project work
Full Clean driving licence & NRSWA certified
CSR/CSCS Card
Excellent project management skills
Good general IT skillsAs Telecoms Project Manager you will also have first class interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. A Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant technical discipline would be advantageous to your application.
