Our client is one of the world leaders in Life Science development, they provide innovative medicines, vaccines, therapies, animal health products and solutions.
They currently need to add support to their microbiology department by taking on a Technician, for more details please see the below information on the job role;
Job Description Summary:
The Technician Microbiology is supporting the biotech production with ensuring the quality of the product in regards to microbiological aspects
Job Description and Responsibilities
The primary activities include but are not limited to:
·Conducting microbiological sampling for environmental monitoring in the production areas (water, air and surface monitoring)
·Implementation and evaluation of microbiological analysis (analysis of water, seed identification, endotoxin and bioburden determinations)
·Quality control and storage organization of media, reagents and test kits
·Document and manage analytical results according to applicable GMP requirements
Qualification Profile
Education:
·Completed apprenticeship (lab technician, LaboristIn, practice assistant, druggist) with practical experience in microbiological techniques
Skills Required:
·Ideally experience in GMP guidelines
·Fluent German
·English language skills desirable
·Willingness to work shifts including weekends (2 shift production 7 days / week) and on-call duty
