QC Microbiology Technician – Immunoassay/Diagnostics/Microbiology – Permanent – Kent – £19-21k

We currently require a QC Laboratory Technician with a degree qualification in an appropriate bio-science (ideally microbiology) to join our client, a global leader, on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for testing and inspection of in-process components, pre-packs and final packs to the authorised QA specification.

Key duties:

*To undertake product performance testing and inspection to the QA specification ensuring all necessary documentation is completed or checked for completion and is compiled in the batch history before the product is submitted for release for sale.
*To undertake testing and inspection of in-process components, pre-packs and final packs to the authorised QA specification, to the agreed manufacturing release schedule ensuring where any deviations noted have an appropriate NCMR raised.
*To maintain QC trend analysis data and to contribute to the resolution of technical problems.
*To update product status and quarantined materials.
*To actively review and update QC worksheets/POI/Post-Issue Worksheets to ensure they reflect the authorised QA specification requirements.
*Responsible for familiarising and complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental rules, policies, procedures and any other instructions relevant to working within the area of the company.

Salary: £26,000per year+ benefits
