Technical Services Supervisor

Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

One of the leading global providers of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management is recruiting for a technical services supervisor for their team based near Heathrow.

This role is for a technical services supervisor and requires somebody who is an electrical maintenance engineer with extensive planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance experience on Electrical Services, Heating, ventilation, Air conditioning, BMS, who has been working in a supervisor capacity and can oversee the maintenance across 3 buildings.

As a Technical Services Supervisor you will be responsible for:

Managing the day-to-day engineering maintenance across client sites using in house team and external contractors.

*

Maintaining all electrical and mechanical plant and services to appropriate industry standards.

*

Co-ordinating and supervising all contractor hard service activities, including Risk assessments, Method statements and insuring QHSE Permitting is always upheld.

*

Escalating urgent issues identified through to the UK Technical Services Lead.

*

Working with UKI Technical Operations Lead to identify replacements and obtain quotations relating to the Asset Life Cycle Management Plan.

*

Maintaining relationships with key Stakeholders and give regular updates with regards to ongoing site maintenance issues.

*

Being proficient in managing costs relating to delivery of maintenance activities at client site location.

*

Fully understanding the operational protocols associated with alarm conditions and auxiliary back-up system capabilities.

*

Managing all technical training requirements including competency assessments, critical services training and scenario training exercises

*

Maintaining electrical and mechanical plant and services to appropriate industry standards.

*

Responding to customer requests in compliance with agreed service levels

*

Supporting cost-effective procurement of engineering maintenance services and operate within annual engineering budgets for maintenance and repair of these services.

Qualification and Skills:

*

IOSH or equivalent QHSE training

*

Recognised 3rd Level Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar.

*

Full, clean driving license.

*

BMS Controls Experience / HVAC Experience essential.

*

Experience of Quality Management Systems.

*

Confident decision maker

*

Experience of operation of UPS, Standby Power and Critical Environment Cooling Systems

*

Operational experience of managing QHSE Systems

*

Must have a proven track record in the overseeing the maintenance of detailed mechanical and electrical building services.

Excellent facilitation, communication skills at all levels.

*

Excellent Customer Service Delivery Skills.

*

Ability to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision

*

Good technical knowledge as well as the ability to project manage and multitask.
