As the PHP Technical Architect you will be able to get hands on with some of the latest technologies around. You should already be an expert in PHP5 and ideally have some exposure to Symfony2 and Doctrine2. As a PHP Technical Architect you will be well versed in scaling private/public Restful APIs. You will be strong in MySQL5. You should also be competent TDD, DDD with Agile methodologies and ADD and ATAM. For the right candidate there will be some flexibility.

The PHP Technical Architect will take responsibility for the technical direction of my clients platform. You will be using your existing knowledge to deliver high level designs that meet both functional and non-functional requirements. You will be working with the development manager and other C-Level members of the IT team. You will need to be able to communicate with technical and non-technical alike. You will have the autonomy to assess and highlight areas of weakness in the existing architecture.
