Technical Operator – Rotational Shift (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm )
Location: Nottingham, NG90
Salary: £26,000 per yearplus £3,411 shift allowance
Gi Group have an opportunity for a Technical Operator. You will be part of a leading international manufacturing cosmetic and pharmaceutical product team. Working as part of a multi-disciplined team who are packing and inspecting products, you will be carrying out assembly, adjustments and cleaning of complex packing machinery for packing runs.

Your duties:

• You will be removing ‘change parts’ repairing where appropriate and ensuring they are stored correctly. Once trained, you will install change parts and line equipment for a new run.
• You will be working with pressurised systems (water and air) and making sure the line is optimised for balance and performance,
• You will be rectifying minor faults and supporting the Engineers on major breakdowns.

Skills and Attributes:

• You will have demonstrable skills in mechanical comprehension, communication, numeracy and literacy, together with an interest in engineering.
• You will also have some experience in contributing to process improvement activities.
