Technical Manager – Veneers

You’ll be working for a business that is recently established but already the leading producer of doors and windows in the region. Demand for the products is exceptional and growth will include new lines in the near future.

You’ll be a veneer specialist with proven skills in the selection, manufacture and application of a wide range of veneers.
You will train Veneer Department personnel and arrange daily operations (producing veneer sheets for door panels / architraves / frames / furniture elements)
You’ll need relevant technical and managerial experience: minimum 5 years.
A good secondary education with ideally a manufacturing qualification.
Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in employing a wide range of machines & production techniques.
A management style that means you spend the majority of your time in the factory but with a requirement to travel to assess machinery with the plant manager for new and improved manufacturing systems.
