Technical/Digital Business Analyst
Pay Rate: Up to £360per day
Location: Swindon
Contract Length: 6 months

Essential Experience:

*Design changes to system functionality reusing existing processes where appropriate
*Design create mock-ups and prototypes of functional design
*Run workshops with representatives from universities to derive user requirements
*Liaise with other analysts to ensure requirements are clear, accurate and unambiguous
*Liaise with colleagues to ensure designs are technically practical and meet non-functional standards (e.g. security, accessibility)
*Document functional design in a way that is clear to both technical and non-technical readers, from multiple technical/non-technical backgrounds
*Run workshops to brief testers on implemented solutions
*Support team members implementing the designs throughout the development lifecycle
*Knowledge of good web-design principles and standards for accessibility
*Ability to interpret non-technical requirements into a technical specification and vice versa
*Good written and spoken skills, particularly in adversarial situations
*Business analysis and requirements gathering techniques, including workshops and interviews
*Ability to get users to step back from their existing processes in order to understand underlying needs.
*Ability to balance conflicting requirements to produce practical designs

Desirable

*Background in Web design
*.Net development background (not essential)
*knowledge of design frameworks eg bootstrap (not essential)
