Technical Customer Service Advisor

Location: Ashton on Ribble (Preston)

Salary: £26,000 per year+Bonus

Full time rota working between 8am-10pm Mon-Fri plus weekend work.

Our client in Preston are recruiting for Technical Customer Service Advisors for an immediate start.

The position will be within an established organisation with excellent reputation and onsite facilities such as parking and canteen and excellent offices.

The role involves giving technical support for all kinds of mobile handsets including but not limited to the set-up and troubleshooting of Internet connectivity, emails, applications and general operating functions of the device. Smart phones and feature phones will be worked on. Good customer service skills are also essential, as well as the technical knowledge.

Duties include:

Working with customers to identify mobile handset problems and advise a solution
Log and keep a record of queries and include detailed notes of the issues and solutions offered
Keeping up to date with procedures and processes within the business
Keeping up to date with the latest handsets and technical issues
Excellent customer service and description skills, including technical issues to non-technical customers
Experience with PCs and mobile phone syncing preferred but not required
Remote technical support experience preferred but not requiredFull handset and systems training will be provided, previous experience in a similar role is great however not essential, more so is a passion and active interest in mobile technology is essential, testing on such will form part of the interview process.
