Salary: £78,000 – £96,000 per year

Role Description:

The Client Consultant will provide prospective customers with technical expertise, build quality relationships at senior levels with both IT, Business leaders and professionals, conduct thorough needs analysis for targeted demonstrations, uncover potential objections, and assist in defining the competitive landscape with a goal to convincing the client to use the client solutions.

This will include activities such as needs analysis calls (discovery calls), completing RFPs, product presentations, integration demonstrations, technical workshops, follow-up calls, one-off demonstrations with the intent to educate, and work with the development team to create the “complete solution” during the pre-sales process. This role will also be responsible for the post-sales integration work to ensure customers effectively and efficiently go live on the client platform.

Job responsibilities include:

Builds relationships with potential customer’s technical and digital teams by partnering with our customers to develop a working knowledge of their goals, technical challenges and infrastructure configurations to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Proactively visit customers and develop relationships to provide insight and value-add stories to the customer engagement
Performs extensive needs analysis and client contact before product/solution demonstrations
Own and conduct the demonstration script for the products
Responds to RFPs with exceptional detail, clarity, and professionalism Deliver clear and concise documentation and articulate how the solution works, and be well-versed in various architectural representation models Assists in preparation of commercial proposals.
Ensures clients queries are answered promptly and comprehensively.

Maintains and continually upgrades technical understanding of products. Provides technical leadership and ensures technical issues are resolved. Work with the Engineering and Product teams to enhance solution offering and provide feedback and direction from the field; this will include building user stories, use cases and providing user acceptance test plans
Defines detailed Statements of Work.
Project management of implementation with customer or re-sell partners Travels within assigned territory as required.
Works within the OKR (Objectives & Key Results) framework to deliver results for the business

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree is required. Concentration in Engineering, Software Design, Mathematics or Technology Management is preferred
– Proven experience of pre-sales systems engineering experience directly supporting complex sales engagements; selling a solution spanning multiple departments in a company and requiring their approval.
– Enterprise platform integration experience
– Financial markets experience required and therefore ideal candidate has worked for a company that provides financial technology solutions
– Line management of professional remote teams is a bonus
– Implementation experience is a bonus.
– German, French or Spanish languages a bonus

Special skills and knowledge requirements:
– Experience in financial industry, specifically with compliance, KYC, AML, and/or information system security experience.
– Alternatively, 5+ years of experience in the following fields: Technology or business strategy consulting, Network engineering/administration, Web services/API programming or development, Telephony or video network design and planning;
– Working knowledge of corporate network infrastructure topology and protocols including firewall configuration, DNS management, network routing and IP connectivity
– Demonstrated ability to communicate highly technical concepts and processes to the “common person”
– Experience with issue tracking and risk mitigation of complex problems of systems integration
– Understanding of SAML specification to support client based Single Sign On (SSO)

Required Knowledges, skills, and abilities
– Solid experience with Linux/Json APIs; experience working with Apache products is a bonus
– Excellent Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent in person and virtual presentation skills
– Expeditious, with thorough and accurate customer follow up skills
– Very good problem solving skills

– Good business strategy, planning and project management skills
