Role: Technical Consultant
Location: East Central London (Hybrid working)
Salary: up to £40K DOE
My MSP client are looking for a Technical Consultant, who is a creative problem solver. You will be ensuring client sites are managed, documented and fully operational. Your role will be to support and monitor the existing infrastructure and perform preventative maintenance work. You will plan manage and implement various projects and upgrades to meet overall technical excellence goals.
What we are looking for from you:
-Ability to demonstrate how to lead within a 1st/2nd line service desk technical environment.
-To support and monitor the existing infrastructure and perform preventative maintenance work
-To plan manage and implement various projects and upgrades to meet overall technical excellence goals
-Strong IT field experience showing capability of dealing with clients face to face.
-Core networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, SAN & technologies, etc).
-Operating Systems, primarily Windows 7/8.1/10 as well as key desktop applications such as Microsoft’s Office suite.
-Experience of configuring and maintaining Windows server environments including experience with working with Microsoft’s Exchange, SQL, RDS and IIS.
-Hyper-V and VMware as well as Hyper-V Clusters.
-Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, AzureAD.
-First-hand experience of migrating services to Microsoft 365.
-Microsoft 365 management (Exchange Online, SharePoint and other core services).
-Experience with managing Microsoft 365 Intune (Endpoint Manager).
-Microsoft Azure
-VoIP systems administration
