Responsibilities
End -to-end management of the supply chain for a high value, technically complex, low volume production project, working as a key part of a small integrated cross-functional team.
Requirements
Supply chain management in a low volume, high value, high variety manufacturing environment
Configuration and traceability control to mainstream automotive or aerospace standards
Process improvement, particularly related to ‘Lean’ techniques and philosophy
Experience working in small integrated teams
Previous end-to-end supply chain responsibility
Supplier performance audit and assessment
Understanding of mainstream automotive or aerospace quality management processes
Negotiation of price and terms with suppliers
Good practical understanding of the impact of supply chain activity on business performance
Good IT skills, particularly with large ERP systems (ideally Baan 5c / Infor LN) and Microsoft Excel
Ability to speak German and / or French an advantage
