Technical Assistant

We are currently recruiting for our Leeds based client. Due to a new client win they are looking for 5 technical assistants to support them with EPOS testing and installations across the country. The position will initially be temporary but for the right person could become permanent.

You will be working with a team of engineers providing support to supermarkets across the UK during a roll out of EPOS ( electronic point of sale) systems. This could either involve replacing a chip and pin unit and the connecting bracket or an upgrade of the software packages

The work will involve national travel but all hotels/meals and travel expenses will be paid by my client

It is preferable that you have worked with EPOS systems previously in order to be able to understand that software installations and updates required, however if you are technically minded and can demonstrate a strong work attitude and the enthusiasm to learn then you will be considered for the position. Full training will be provided by the company and you will be partnered with an experienced Engineer

Hours of work are Sunday- Thursday and will be out of hours so generally 10pm to finish, shifts could be anything from 4 to 10 hours but you will also be paid a minimum of 8 hours for any shift you are booked for

CSCS card required
