Team Leader – Supported Living

We require a Team Leader to join our team in Hemel Hempstead

Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience of supervising staff and leading work with people with Learning Disability, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Challenging Behaviour and complex needs.

Relevant professional qualification required in social work, nursing, teaching or NVQ 3 in Care or working towards NVQ 3 equivalent.

Minimum 1 year’s experience of working within Mental Health or Learning Disabilities services is essential.

You must have the ability to:

• Manage and supervise staff, coordinate provision of service, and promote the development of the staff Team and individual staff.

•Lead staff in the provision of effective Person Centred Planning, care and support and safeguarding vulnerable adults.

•Lead staff to work effectively with families, advocates and other professionals.

•Lead staff in the assessment and management of risk.

•Support the Manager and HR Admin with his or her Duties and to Assist in CQC Compliance Requirements.

The above posts require working time flexibility and include some evenings, night, weekend and bank holiday working.
