Team Leader – Food Production

Salary: £30,000 per year

4 on / 4 off

6:00am to 6:00pm

Due to continued growth, a national and premium food producer, is now keen to recruit up to 5 Team Leaders.

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY

• Experience in a similar role advantageous
• Level 3 Health & Safety Awareness
• Level 3 Food Safety
• Understanding of safe working procedures.
• Familiar with HACCP principles.
• Ability to use IT systems, for example PC’s.
• Comfortable running and understanding a paperless factory. 
• Flexible approach with ability to carry out a wide variety of tasks and adapt to the changing needs of the company.

• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Be able to show initiative and good problem solving skills.
• Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions.
• Willingness to learn and lead by example.

Reporting to the Shift Manager/Factory Manager, you duties will include, but not limited to:

• Responsibility for all line operations as directed by your Shift Manager; allocated staffing levels, compliance, plan attainment, GMP, product quality, yield control, staff welfare & [low-level] discipline and to work in a collaborative manner with other departments on site.

• Ensure the safety, quality and legality of the products are achieved and maintained to the highest standard at all times.

• Responsible for the management of a team of operatives in a given area (high or low risk), to ensure compliance with key company & customer requirements including TFMS, BRC, QAS & McDonalds SQMS audit.
