Teaching Assistants

We are looking for superb teaching assistants to support teachers on varying amounts of notice in schools around the region. Helping children to achieve their very best, you will be help in the delivery of high quality lessons in primary, secondary and special schools having a direct impact on children’s educational and social development.

Our ideal candidates will be qualified and flexible to work in a number of schools. Specialist knowledge and experience of working with SEN children would be a huge plus, as would specialisms in literacy and maths.

Teaching assistants may be asked to workwith groups in the classroom, with smaller intervention groups or withspecifically identified children.

Our higher rates are aimed towards our Higher Level Teaching Assistants who have more responsibilities. These may include;

working alongside teachers to support learning activities
helping to plan lessons and prepare teaching materials
acting as a specialist assistant for particular subjects
leading classes under the direction of the teacher
supervising other support staff.
You would also assess, record and report on the progress of children you work with.
