Teaching Assistant – Wakefield – Full time

The role

Supply Desk are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Wakefield. This is a long term, full time role which is due to start in September. The Teaching Assistant will be supporting a key stage 2 class as well as working with children in small groups to help boost attainment. Ideally the successful candidate will have previously worked in a primary school.

Requirements

Hold a minimum of a relevant Level 2 qualification.
Have experience working with children in an education setting.
Be able to work with children in a nurturing and calm manor.
Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
