Teaching Assistants

TeacherActive are currently looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants for a variety of positions in Caerphilly. Working within the secondary age range, the role will involve working with small groups of children or individuals, under the direction of the teachers, to ensure all pupils make excellent progress and reach their full potential.

To be successful in your interview, you must be flexible, have a good knowledge of how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

You will need a good understanding of the needs of pupils from a variety of different cultures, including those for whom English is an additional language. In addition we require that applicants be able to demonstrate an understanding, in Maths and English to a GCSE C Grade standard.
