£78 – £96 a day depending on experience Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for 1:1 Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to work for an SEN School based in Islington. We have multiple vacancies for this position, as the School are looking for staff to work across different key stages. These positions will be supporting pupils with a huge mix of needs, some of these include Severe/Moderate Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Physical Disabilities, PMLD, SEMH, EBD, ASD, Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. We are looking for dynamic and adaptable 1:1 Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants, that will be able to support pupils on a daily basis in the classroom, from Primary level to Secondary level.

Due to the variety of support needed, experience supporting different needs is highly desirable. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development. The positions all start ASAP for the whole academic year and potentially beyond.

Experience of support children or adults with a variety of needs
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week
