Remuneration – £26,000per year based on experience

A secondary school based in South West London are looking for dynamic and passionate Teaching Assistants with experience and ideally with a degree. The ideal TA will be looking to become a teacher at some point or looking to pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a minimum of 1 academic year full time. You will be responsible for:

Working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils
Supporting at times pupils with learning difficulties
Supporting pupils with English as a second language
Preparing the classroom for lessons
Tidying up and keeping the classroom in good order
Creating displays of pupils€™ work
Helping on school outings or at school events

This school is based in South West London & is a girls School with academy status of academic, catering for students aged 11-19. Average class sizes are 20 across all subjects and significantly smaller in the Sixth Form.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant
Our Teaching Assistants are confident, flexible & patient individuals. Ideally you will have previous experience working in a similar role.
Ability to engage & inspire students
Degree in any field
Ability to develop strong relationships with individuals as well as groups
Patience and flexibility
Good behaviour management
