Special Needs teacher (Specialist area: SLD and complex needs).

Main responsibilities include:

To teach a secondary class of students with severe and complex learning difficulties.
You will implement the School’s behaviour management policy; and share individual strategies with all members of staff where appropriate.
Plan and deliver group teaching programmes in a creative and enriching manner.
You will work as part of an inter-disciplinary team and liaise with therapists and other professionals. At the same time your responsibility will be to create a stimulating, attractive and educational environment within the classroom area.
Provide and compile comprehensive records, reports, profiles and individual programmes on all students.Required skills needed to be considered for this position:

QTS must be obtained/Fully qualified. You will have to have knowledge of the curriculum in order to effectively deliver high teaching standards at all times.
Be a goal orientated individual with a “can do” attitude.
