Cyber Business Analyst

The Role

As a Cyber Business Analyst, your principal goal will be to manage the complexities of large-scale projects on behalf of the client, to ensure that business benefits are understood by the client, and that TCS optimises engagement performance.

Develop an understanding of our business strategies.
Gain proficiency in underlying product/platform functions and leading technology capabilities.
Develop business acumen to understand core business processes and desired outcome.
Work directly with DD&T Project Manager & Product owner(s) to gather requirements, business process mapping, functional specifications, security guidelines etc.
Analyse its completeness from both functional and/or technical perspective after having proper discussions with various responsible stakeholders for the said requirement.
Create proper epics, features, and user stories (or use cases) with respect to the requirement in hand.
Review the features / stories with both business and internal project team.
Prioritise the features / user stories across various sprints.
Conduct Backlog Refinement sessions to elaborate the user stories to the project team (development and testing) and working closely with the project team during the development and testing activities of the stories.
Add value during Sprint – Review Sessions to show and tell the work done in the last sprint to the required project/business stakeholders.
Update / maintain release documents (such as: release notes, user manuals, BLDs / FLDs etc.) and communication those to required stakeholders.
Get in touch with end-user to understand their pain-points and resolving their doubts with respect to upcoming features in UAT sessions.
Follow up with dependent business teams to resolve any dependency for the project team with respect to the requirements in hand.
Understand the data and how business processes function within IT applications. Develop and maintain an understanding of interfacing applications.
