DevSecOps Developer

The Role As a DevSecOps Developer, your principal goal will be to manage the complexities of large-scale projects on behalf of the client to ensure that business benefits are understood by the client, and that TCS optimises engagement performance. You will work closely with the client IT organisation and client process owners to ensure system and process integrity of the template and to drive adherence to the template – ensuring that only critical localisation requirements are approved. Integrate the security controls into the infrastructure-as-Code pipeline to securely empower developers. Collaboratively work with vendors, client staff and contractors to implement and integrate vendor-provided security solutions for both on-premises and Cloud. Develop API integrations and recommend configuration changes to improve the performance, usability, and value of security tools. Design and develop solutions needed for the troubleshooting and resolution of security or compliance issues. Maintain knowledge of the latest security threats and industry standard methodologies. Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure. Understand the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers. Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes. Test and examine code written by others and analysing results. Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats. Identify technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’. Work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended. Plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.
