Systems Tester
Our client is looking to hire an experienced System Tester to join their expanding team. As a Systems Tester you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting market leading Air Traffic Control simulation products. The role requires a motivated individual to collaborate in an established team to inspect requirements, design test documentation, execute all levels of testing, fault find and report defects, and validate work from a user’s perspective. The role can be performed remotely but for training and meetings, you will be required to attend the Bournemouth office.
The successful applicant will be expected
* Prepare test specs and record all results.
* Test software products, including conducting acceptance tests with or for the customer.
* Assist in the specification of functional and software requirements.
* Test the fully integrated software to check how components interact with one another and with the system.
* Identify issues early and notify the relevant people.
* Test customers data to verify upgrading their system will not cause them any down time.
* Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
Experience required
Some experience of Air Traffic Control, flight simulation or aviation
Experience of manual application testing is essential, automated testing is desirable.
Technical Requirements
* Good understanding of testing.
* Familiarity with the Windows family of operating systems.
* Ability to communicate ideas clearly to other team members.
* Ability to produce supporting documentation of a reasonable standard of written English.
* Available to travel.
