Sustainable Supply Chain Specialist
Working for the one of the country’s most recognised high street brands who are leading the way in reducing environmental impact and responsible sourcing. As a key part of their sustainability strategy, they are looking to appoint a procurement specialist who will be responsible for managing their wood and paper sourcing policies.
summary
Reporting to the head of responsible souring and part of the sustainability team, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply chain are compliant with the company’s responsible sourcing codes of practise. You will liaise with key stakeholders at each stage of the procurement process. You will oversee policy implementation and product due diligence including; random testing, wood isotope testing etc. to make sure the products and packaging are from renewable sources. Part of your role will also be responsible for management of the wood and paper budget and setting Key performance indicators and analysis of the information collected.
About you
The post would ideally suit an individual who has previous experience in the field of wood and or paper, or general hardware.
You will be a good communicator, highly organised and with excellent MS office skills.
Calm under pressure, you will have an analytical mind set with a good attention to detail. A team player who can demonstrate tenacity and problem solving skills.
Based in Hampshire or Central London, the post comes with a very attractive salary and generous company and performance bonuses.
