An amazing opportunity has arisen for an outgoing, intelligent, analytical and ambitious person with a true passion for sustainability and the environment to work as a Sustainability Co-ordinator, in a dynamic, growing company based in beautiful surroundings.

This is an exciting time for the company with upcoming legislative change presenting opportunity for significant growth in the consultancy services offering and there will be opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and develop within the consultancy arena. You will be an integral part of the sustainability team delivering a high level of customer service and providing strong account management and technical support to existing customers. Supporting the team in the delivery of carbon, energy and sustainability related projects and carrying out detailed data analysis when required. Supporting the sales team in the achievement of company growth targets by offering technical input with the securing of new business and ensuring opportunities are optimised within the existing customer database. Full induction and training program in place and there are excellent opportunities and support for candidates with the right competencies. You role will be but not limited to; Delivery of and support (in terms of data analysis and report writing) with various sustainability related projects including ESOS, SECR and organisational, product and packaging carbon footprints which may include visits to customer sites; Responsibility for improving the efficiency and quality of jobs and ensuring processes for completing jobs are followed and well documented; Maintain a good understanding of carbon, energy and sustainability policy and regulatory change and have input into the company change strategy in line with the organisational roadmap; Membership of relevant taskforce(s) and active contribution to achievement of objectives; Completion of internal audit; Identifying opportunities and cross sell all other services to existing customers; Assistance with preparing/delivering webinars when required. In order to be considered you will have a Degree in an environmentally focused subject, you will have strong IT skills, be an expert using MS Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.

You will be passionate about the environment and sustainability and be excited at the prospect of helping businesses minimise their environmental impact. At the very least you need to be outgoing and confident speaking with customers with a strong focus on customer service and find building strong relationships easy. You will work well in a team with a ‘muck in’ approach being flexible and highly resilient, being committed to growing with the business through a period of transformational change. You must have a strong work ethic working well under pressure with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

If you have project management experience and an understanding of key sustainability related issues, that’s even better!

A UK driving license will be required in order to carry out on-site customer visits.
