SURFACE COATING SUPERVISOR

Overview
Our client have an immediate requirement to appoint a Surface Coating Supervisor who will be employed on a very high profile project / assignment based in Rosyth Scotland.
The roles are offered on an initial 12 month rolling contract, but it is anticipated that these roles may result in permanent positions; possibly spanning across Europe.

Role
Surface Coating Supervisor whose responsibilities will include;
* Provide effective leadership and Supervision to a team of five Technicians / Inspectors
* Work as part of a team to apply specialist coating using Arc Spray technology
* Ensure that all team members effectively maintain their equipment i.e Arc Spray Guns
* Lead by example in regards to taking responsibility for themselves and other team members in a highly regulated environment
* Ensure that they and the team work and adhere to strict and specific operational guidelines / instruction
* Ensure that the entire team contribute effectively multi-tasking in support of other team members as and when required

Experience Required
A minimum of five years leadership / supervisory experience is essential
Education / qualification in the form of a formal apprenticeship is preferred but not essential
No specific industry experience and or knowledge and experience of Arc Spraying is required as all training will be provided;
High level security clearance is required for this role and therefore applications are welcomed only from candidates with no criminal record
Must have a mature responsible attitude
Flexible working away from home for long periods of time including long working weeks on a regular basis
The ability to understand the importance of their actions

Remuneration
£27 per hour
£45 per week subsistence allowance
All travel and accommodation costs to be met by the company
