SUPPORT WORKERS (TEMPORARY)

Rates of Salary: £26,000per year

We are looking to recruit into post a variation of support workers for services around the UK as above, we are looking for people whom have worked within mental health & challenging behaviour settings, do you and can you offer support and guidance to aid rehabilitation into the community and encourage daily living activities you will address service users practical and emotional needs which can range from assisting in finding work, training opportunities which will enable them to re-develop their social skills again, encourage activities such as reading, studying where applicable, shopping etc.

You will assist in domestic management which would include such things as finance, support them to move back into the community, you will carry out assessments, identify risks and develop individual tailored support for each service user.

You will have a proven track record working with challenging behaviour associated with mental health conditions, experience of supporting, empowering and engaging service users, you will observe and reinforce boundaries and engage with service users whether in a group setting or individual 121. You will posses excellent communication skills be able to work well under pressure and manage your own caseloads, you will be meticulous in recording information and have a good team work ethic.
