Support Workers – Childrens Residential Homes

FPR Group is a specialist Health & Social Care Division with over 20 years of recruitment experience, we specialise in flexible staffing solutions for the Social Care industry – for our clients and for you.

We are looking for experienced Children’s Residential Support Workers or Youth Workers to join our expanding work force, working with young people aged between 10-19 years in residential settings across Sussex who have emotional and behavioural difficulties.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role, where you can make a positive difference with to the lives of these children and young people who are unable to sustain a placement in their parental homes or foster homes.

HOURS:
Flexible hours to suit your life style, we have full and part time work available, with choice of shifts in the day, night and weekends. You choose when you want to work.

EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED:
• At least 6 months paid experience within the UK of working within a residential setting or as a youth worker in a similar role
• Able to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision but ask for help or advice from senior staff when needed.
• Understand the need for confidentiality
• You must be able to communicate effectively

PAY & BENEFITS:
• Weekly and competitive rates of pay, £26,000 (dependent on client and time of week/day)
• Mandatory training to develop your skill-set and experience
• Statutory holiday pay (28 days)
• Statutory pension scheme
• Work as much or as little as you want – some of our Candidates work full-time!
