Residential Support Worker

Salary: £26,000 per year

We are a relatively new company who are aiming to open and establish LD Residential Children’s Homes within the West Midlands, Staffordshire.

Our South Staffordshire Home – Cheslyn Hay, we are seeking to identify suitable candidates that are motivated and driven, working together to take our vision forward.

We currently have a very experienced management staff team – Responsible individual who is seeking to expand in preparation for the development of our new home which will be a 3 placement LD – New Service estimated opening September 2021.

Children’s – LD Location: Cheslyn Hay, Walsall – Will be registered for 3 Young People.

We are an Independent Children’s Residential Company based in Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire.

We are looking for a Residential Support Worker, to join our growing team.

The home provides the invaluable care for three children who are displaying signs of LD (ASD & Learning Difficulties).

Not only do the staff support the children with everyday tasks, they also focus on empowering children the children to voice their cultural, ethnic, religious, sexual or social diversity, promoting their rights as children and young people.

Some of the duties and responsibilities held by the successful candidate include:

Supporting Young People in their day-to-day routines

Completing and maintaining administrative records as required by the home

Providing a positive role model for the Young People

Developing and maintaining professional working relationships.

The Candidate

must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People qualification or be willing to work towards gaining this fully-funded qualification.

A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Providing personal care may be required with this position due to the needs of some of the Children/Young People in our care.

Salary: £26,000per year, excluding sleep-ins up to £26,000 per year
