CareTech Community Services are one of the leading quality care providers within the region, providing residential care facilities for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.
We are looking for Support Workers to join our friendly Willingham based Team, who can demonstrate a reliable and flexible approach to people with learning disabilities.
The home is for adult men with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. These gentlemen have a variety of needs ranging from epilepsy, autism, dementia and a variety of mobility difficulties some requiring the use of a hoist.
The home is in unusual and beautiful setting of 13acres of farm land so individuals need to be willing to do gardening tasks and be ok with animals such as dogs, sheep, cows, ducks and rabbits.
So are you caring? Inspirational? Optimistic? And Insightful? – These are easy words, but the real job of a support worker is to blend all this to enable our service users to lead a fulfilling and satisfying a life as they possibly can.
Full driving licence would be an advantage, as would an NVQ (or equivalent) within Health & Social Care.
All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS Check and satisfactory references.
