About the client:

My client is a Care service that supports a wide range of residents, Adults with learning difficulties, complex needs and difficult behaviour. This client offer both registered care services as well as Supported Living options. They are a well know established Care service and have homes in various locations, across East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey.

The service has a good CQC rating and they have lots of opportunities within their business

About the role:

You will be working within a team that provide care and support to vulnerable, young adults with learning and challenging behaviour difficulties. Whether that is supporting them to be a little bit more independent, engaging them in activities, going on walks or interacting with them, there are many daily activities and no day will be the same. The role involves quite a bit of physical activity, being on your feet for long periods of the day.

About you:

As Support Worker, you will be:

Active, positive and creative with excellent communication skills

Have a passion for delivering care and support to the best of your ability

Honest and reliable

Polite with great communication skills, written and verbal

Able to deal with difficult situations

Someone that can work on initiative

Skills/Education requirements:

Any form of care experience is advantageous but not essential

Any NVQ’s in Health and Social care are advantageous
