An exciting Support Team Manager role working for a leading support and research charity for people with dementia. 

Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025. 

Position: Day Support Team Manager (Easingwold, Hambleton and Richmondshire) 
Location: Easingwold 
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – ending 31/03/2017 
Hours: 19.50 per week 
Salary: £26,000per year.00 actual per year

About the Role: 
We are looking to recruit a creative and motivated individual to manage the day to day delivery of our day support service in Easingwold that is operational Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. 

About You: 
will possess NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. An understanding of the needs of people with dementia and experience of managing staff and leading a team are essential for this role. 

The successful candidate will be able to assess and evaluate client needs and devise and lead meaningful activities for people with dementia. You should have basic IT skills including word and Excel
