Resipoint is a rapidly expanding manufacturer of modular prefabricated systems. Our head office is based in Gloucester and we also have a London office in Farringdon.

Resipoint is a ‘project-based’ business, concentrating primarily on selling to Developers and Main Contractors.  Typically, our contracts range between £300k and £2 million with an average duration of 12 months.

Scope of Role

We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain and Planning Manager to optimise our supply chain processes and ensure seamless production planning.   In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating a streamlined supply chain, managing inventory levels, and implementing efficient planning strategies to support our commitment to sustainability and quality.


Principal Responsibilities

Supply Chain Optimisation:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to distribution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimising excess stock.
  • Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and improve overall efficiency.

Production Planning:

  • Work closely with Operations teams to develop and execute production schedules.
  • Anticipate and address potential bottlenecks in the production process to meet customer demands.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favourable agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues and fostering continuous improvement.

Data Analysis and Forecasting:

  • Utilise data analytics and forecasting tools to assess demand patterns and optimise inventory levels.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including production, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain activities with business goals.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to address challenges and implement strategic initiatives.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to proactively address challenges.

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·       Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field qualification

·       Proven experience of project supply chain management

·       Proven experience of production planning

·       Strong understanding of sustainable supply chain practices.

·       Proficiency in using supply chain management software.

·       Experience with Sage and Sicon would be advantageous.

·       Excellent organisational skills

·       Competent Level of IT Skills

·       Ability to work within a team essential

·       Good communication and negotiation skills

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm (30 minute lunch break).
