Supplier Quality Engineer

Salary: £16.2 – £16.8 per hour

Supplier Quality Engineer – 9 Month Contract – Telford

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-national manufacturer. They are looking for a new Senior Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer / Quality Engineer, to join them on a 9-month contract basis, to work on a day shift at their Telford site. This engineering specialist is looking for someone with an extensive background in CNC manufacturing / engineering, potentially in aerospace or automotive settings.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

* Evaluate key supplier performance

* Working across multiple commodities with various sized suppliers located in UK & Europe

* QMS Auditing

* Technical Compliance Audits

* Reporting

* Supplier Development Plans

* Establish Incoming Material Inspection Plans

You’ll have experience in a similar role, ideally within a similar industry, and have experience of leading complex 8D, KT techniques & deep Auditing activity within supply chains.

You will have experience with UK & overseas suppliers.

Package comes with overtime at 1.5, attendance bonus and generous holiday allocation. Day shift with an early finish on Fridays.

This is skilled, precision role and you MUST have a sound mechanical background in a precision assembly / CNC / machine shop environment.

The site is accessible from Shrewsbury, Telford, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Walsall, Newport, Shifnal, Bridgnorth etc

Alternative job titles would include Quality Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, QMS Manager, Senior Quality Engineer etc
