Supplier Assurance Administrator

Salary: £31,200 – £36,000 per year

We are shortlisting for a new opportunity with a prominent UK food business offering a range of products to their customers.

The business is looking for a technically talented candidate with a sound knowledge of the technical systems and supplier co-ordinating.

You’ll be supporting the Technical and Quality function of the business have excellent attention to detail as well as a champion of continuous improvement and be confident in sharing your ideas.

Your key duties will includes:
Effective management of supplier/raw material approval including risk assessments through to quality of the finished product.
Food defence knowledge and adhering to processes
Technical data trending
Knowledge and maintenance of online portals and systems.

You will be required to have UK food manufacturing experience, knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP and exposure to BRC and retailers systems would be advantageous.

Food Technology/Food Science or related degree is desirable.

Confident communication skills are vital for this role in order to liaise with members of staff, customers and suppliers.
The position will suit a forward thinking and affable individual who works well in a team and with a keen passion for delivering and with good organisational skills.
