Overall Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor / Technician.
• Every employee has a responsibility to ensure all areas and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and organised to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Supervising all factory staff to achieve Production Plan, including Shift Handover.
• Allocate operators to the machine / job ensuring they are competent and trained or undergoing training by Lead Operators.
• Producing production and assembly figures, verifying that count correct, count scrap mouldings are the same as production figures.
• All training skills charts to be kept up to date.
• All Core Training skills to be kept up to date.
• Hanging tools quickly and efficiently according to the schedule.
• Runs each shift to maximum efficiency.
• Accepts full responsibility for Quality standards.
• Ensure required Quality inspections points are carried out.
• Accepts responsibility for maintaining housekeeping standard and the actions of operators.
• Responds to problems as they occur and provide a solution.
• Health & Safety is carried out according with company policy.

Principal Responsibilities

• To give help and guidance to all production staff to enable them to perform their roll to the best of their ability.
• Operates to achieve the schedule as agreed at shift handover.
• Set tools quickly and efficiently according to the schedule.
• Runs each shift to maximum efficiency.
• Ensuring that all Operators’ machine areas are correctly organised, safe and tidy.
• Ensuring that Operators are following housekeeping rules regarding recording of rejects, completing labels, Quality records etc.
• Quality Check to be carried.
• Improvement of efficiencies throughout the factory, e.g., power use, cycle-time improvement, operator efficiency, material scraps etc.
• Attending & contributing to daily Production Meeting when necessary in the absence pf the Senior Supervisor / Technician.
• Ensuring that all factory equipment is in good working condition and in accordance with Health and Safety Standards.
• To communicate with the Production Manager in the absence of the Senior Supervisor / Technician.
• Report and attend Grievance & Disciplinary meetings/investigations.
• To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the management.
