Our client, a leading independently owned waste management company, is looking to recruit a Supervisor to join its existing collections team based at the company’s site in the South West. The main requirements of this role are to organise and control the safe operation of vehicles and crews. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the kerbside collection services to the requirements of the contract. Being able to effectively provide supervisory management to the crews and maintaining health and safety standards within the service will require previous experience in a similar role. The successful candidates will have excellent organisation, scheduling and planning skills with demonstrable experience. It is essential that you are an effective communicator with people management experience and have good administration and IT skills. Being able to work to timescales and having a flexible approach is the key to success in this role. A clean LGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC and Digitacho is essential. A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) would be advantageous along with a health and safety qualification.
