Salary: £60,000 – £72,000 per year
A main contractor is recruiting a Sub agent for their civil engineering division to work on a contract basis. The business deliver projects across the UK in highways and infrastructure for governing bodies and private sector clients.
The Sub Agent will report to the Site Agent and Project team and work on a live 30m project in Cambdridge compromising of civils and ground works, regeneration, highways, roundabouts, 278 works, excavations, in a busy public facing environment.
Sub Agent duties include:
- Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges
- Production and integration of 3-week programmes
- Manage designs from the in house and external designers
- Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing
- Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements
- Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team
- Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process
- Managing RFI’s and Technical Queries
- Raising early warnings and compensation events
About the Company/Client/Project:
The company are an established tier one contractor working across highways, rail, construction, nuclear and general civil engineering works.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The ideal candidate is likely to have a technical background with a degree or professional qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline
Required to hold a SSSTS or SMSTS and CSCS is expected as a minimum.
RECENT MIN 2 YEAR HIGHWAY EXPERIENCE.
