Pipeline Vibration Engineer – Remote Working – Permanent Position

Eden Scott’s client, a leading asset integrity provider to the Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Sectors is seeking a Pipeline Vibration Engineer to join them on a Permanent basis. The position can be offered on a remote working basis or based from one of three offices located throughout Scotland (Aberdeen, Glasgow, Fife).

Reporting into the Global Engineering Consultancy Manager, the position is client facing and the team partner with some of the largest operators in the world to understand their Pipeline infrastructure and make recommendations to improve the integrity and performance of their Pipeline systems.

This is a permanent position with global travel (circa 12 weeks per annum).

Responsibilities will include:

* Perform Engineering studies, detailed site investigations, undertake desktop analysis solve complex problems and develop cost effective engineered solutions.

* Develop an understanding of potential Projects by engaging with customers

* Produce winning proposals that highlight the value of our clients technical offering

* After determining the level of risk and where appropriate the root cause, you will assess/manage risks and develop an effective solution.

Requirements:

* Degree qualified

* Extensive knowledge of Pipeline Structural Vibration ideally gained within the Oil & Gas Industry

* Experience in using vibration/dynamic measurement equipment

* Able to accommodate travel of up to 12 weeks per annum globally
