Excellent role on offer for a Chartered Structural engineer to join an expanding residential consultancy where you will have full autonomy and be the senior engineer in the company.

Are you a Chartered Structural Engineer? Do you want full autonomy and the chance to progress?

This company are a well-established consultancy based in the North London area. They specialise in high end conversions and extensions of residential properties, and have over 100 projects per year.

Due to on-going success they have created a new position within the business for a Chartered Structural engineer. This will be the most senior engineering role in the company, and the successful candidate will have full autonomy, and the chance to progress further within the business.

The main purpose of the role will be to calculate and design suitable structures for residential conversions and extensions. You will be predominantly office based, with site visits undertaken as required. You will be expected to asses site conditions and provide solution working with various materials, including steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry. You will liaise with designers and building control to agree solutions and communicate these to the Project Coordinators and Contractors.
