Structural Revit Technician

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

THE COMPANY

Our client is a fully independent civil and structural engineering consultancy based in South Manchester. They are involved in a diverse range of engineering projects across all market sectors and covering all aspects of civil and structural engineering design, appraisals, alteration of existing buildings and structural investigations.

They have invested significantly into software capabilities ensuring they can tackle projects of any size and complexity and work collaboratively with fellow consultants to BIM Level 3 utilising the latest structural and civil design software including REVIT, Micro Drainage, and Tekla etc.

As a result of a significant increase in workload, they need to recruit a Senior Civil/Structural CAD Technician, who is proficient in the use of REVIT Structures.

THE ROLE

In-line with their growth strategy and major contract awards, they need to recruit a Senior Civil/Structural CAD Technician to produce general arrangement and detail drawings utilising REVIT Structures.

The Senior Civil/Structural CAD Technician (REVIT) will be working closely with junior CAD Technicians and Civil/Structural Design Engineers on a variety of interesting projects, including multi-storey R.C. frames, new care homes, residential projects, industrial, refurbishments, etc.

THE PERSON

The Senior Civil/Structural CAD Technician (REVIT) will have:

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience, producing G.A.’s and detailing.
• Proficient in producing REVIT.
• Educated to HNC or similar.
• Able and willing to support junior CAD Technicians
• Have excellent communication skills.
