Structural / Civil Support Engineer

Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per year

Structural / Civil Engineer required for Engineering Software support role.

Our client is a large market leading Engineering Group with a significant International client base. They design, develop and supply a wide range of Design and Engineering software solutions for a wide range of industries; Oil and Gas, Offshore, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Steelwork, Concrete, Groundwork’s etc. along with 3D modelling / BIM solutions etc..

This key role involves interface with the clients / user base of the company’s Engineering software solutions to help both support the clients and work closely with the company software development team, to relay technical queries and development requests. You will also have the opportunity for client visits offering technical support and also in time, with the training of clients on the large range of the company’s Design and Analysis software solutions.

Suitably qualified (degree level or similar) candidates are sought for this role, with a particular background and experience of working with Structural Analysis and Design software within the Concrete and Steelwork markets.

This opportunity allows a qualified Engineer to remain in touch with the practical side of the Design elements of the Structural Industries they have worked within, whilst developing a broader and deeper understanding of the actual Design Software itself, working with clients and company software developers alike – all leading to ongoing career development opportunities via this very interesting and very varied Structural Engineering role.
